Eydis and her puppies

Courtney is fostering three puppies from the Humane Society. The above pictures were when they were first born. They were almost 5 weeks old in these pictures below from last week.  I know they have grown so much, I need to go see them again. Their mom Eydis is still at the Humane Society with three of her pups, two of the other ones are in foster as well.  They all got "E" names like Elmer, Edgar, etc..but Courtney changed their names to cuter, 'trendier' one..So here is Cooper, Jack and Lola...we think they are Australian Shepherd/Corgi mixes..

They are so adorable!!! If I hadn't just adopted Calhoun a few months ago, I'd be rushing to see those little fellas.

I want all of them! You know I love herding dogs, they are wonderful! If I didn't already have two herding dogs, and a pit-mix I'd take them. I know the HS will make sure they get good homes.

We were hoping the rescue in New Hampshire would take them all, but so far we are not sure..another mommy gave birth at the HS yesterday...and there was a mommy giving birth 2 weeks after Eydis..so we have puppies EVERYWHERE!!! SPAY AND NEUTER your pets people!!!

Oh I can just smell the puppy breath!! My daughter is a vet tech and some of her stories make me sick. She had to put a pregnant pit-bull to sleep because the owners decided that they couldn't afford her! And also the poor dog was literally starving because they didn't feed her either. That story still haunts me. At the clinic she works at now the owner won't refuse any animal for treatment and if they can't find a home for an abandoned animal they take it to a no kill shelter. We love our babies too!!!
