Back in our traditional uniforms...we ROMPED over the Tigers. I wasn't going to let this go unnoticed and not post it on my blog :) Gosh, I am SO SICK AND TIRED of the Memphis fans here thinking there is some sort of rivalry between us. Memphis is NOT a football school, I have never thought about that game as anything of importance, yet living here everyone loves to give us the hardest time about being Vol Fans. Its crazy! Tony wore an orange shirt, without UT logos, to a Memphis event and he got the hardest time about it. I just love that we have yet another year to talk about who is the best team in the state. We watched the game at our neighbor Julie and David's house with lots of other neighbors that love the Vols. We moved into the right cove!! So pumped about Ole Miss this weekend!! Go Vols!!
I can't stay away from Bed Bath and Beyond! I was just looking at my credit card statement and its all over there! After moving and the stress and how unorganized it was, I vowed to get organized and have everything in containers and almost ready to move. So I bought lots of great things for my kitchen. From a pantry/over-the-door/spice rack, plate/platter organizers, drawer organizers, you name it, I have bought it. All in either stainless or black to match everything, per Tony, yes Tony is the one that wants it all matchy-matchy! You can't beat their coupons either. 20% off one item or $5 off an item atleast $15..not to mention, you can use more than one coupon per transaction! Love it, because I have used up to 3 in one transaction, saving lots and lots :)
So when we were younger, all of us, we used to do airbands in our basement. When my family came in a couple of weeks ago for Kamron's birthday we decided to do one, per Kamron's request. I think we sang, "Don't Stop Believing", "In the Air Tonight", "Run this Town" and "Tardy for the Party". Yes, ....a lot of diversity in our airband song choices. There is a video out there..fyi..
Remember we have to help those who can't afford to fix their pets, so there won't be so many to take the shelter. By offering low cost spay and neutering, this can be done. If you attend this party, like so many of my wonderful friends that already bought tickets and donated items (Andrea, Shannon, Jennifer, Ernie, Greg, Julie, Kelly, Winter, Carlos, Randy, Diane, Regina and Tony) we can decrease the amount of animals euthanized in our shelters...Party for a cause! Well since I keep posting depressing info, I wanted to post some pictures when my family came in town. We need a smile. This was the weekend we DIDN'T move. But they had already planned on coming in and Mika bought a flight to surprise Kamron, so we went ahead with it. Julie, Cake Couture, made this great cake for us! It was so delicious, my family was fighting over who would get the leftovers.
