I saw Michael Jackson in concert when I was 7..
in Neyland Stadium. My brother Kamron waited in line at West Town mall for days it seemed, again I was 7, that was 25 years ago. The concert was in August. I remember it was huge that I got to go. Tickets were a whopping $31, and at that time it seemed so much. My family teases me that I fell asleep at some point in the concert, yep not much energy I guess at 7 years old. I had a major crush on him as everyone did and emulated his dance moves. He was one of the best performers I have ever seen, its so shocking that he is gone. We are glued to the CNN coverage, but have to catch some of the NBA draft to see what the Grizzlies do...wow!! This doesn't even seem real.
Wow $31!! My friends actually recently bought tickets to his opening concert in London in a few months... I never asked how much they were. My guess is more than $31. Sad day.
The main reason I started this blog is to show you some insight into my life and show how normal 'girly' girls like me own the most wonderful breed on the planet. For those scared, confused, or misinformed about Pit Bulls, see that I am just like you and these two boys are my babies. If one person learns something about Pit Bulls from me, I have succeeded. I am a Bellydancing, Jazzercising, Trekking, Boot Camper that loves her fiance and her 2 Pit Bulls dearly. I am a University of Tennesee Grad (twice) and a die hard Vol Fan, no other college teams for me. I am very opinionated and want to save all the homeless dogs in Memphis and around the world...well one dog at a time. Oh and I am also in search of the best bbq in Memphis, by the way.. I am also a small business owner managing the lifestyles of the rich and famous. It's fun and it pays the bills :)

So crazy...at least you got to be part of his legacy by seeing him in concert....
I saw him at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium--the OLD Braves stadium! I think I was 10!
