Did anyone see the blue Pit on DWTS?

Awww...Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough visited an animal rescue in LA, Animal Advocates Alliance and at the end of their segment before they danced was a gorgeous blue Pit giving Joanna a big hug..awww...love them! This Pittie was on their site, might be the same one! And I loved their sexy dance too! Looking on AAA's site I saw an ad for a show I have never heard of Rescue Ink Unleashed on National Geographic Channel. Looks like Miami Ink crossed with Caesar's Show...Friday Nights, I'm gonna have to check it out. 

Condolences to Kandi Burress

Heard via MyFox Atlanta and New York Daily News that RHOA Kandi Burress's ex fiance, AJ had died from being stuck to the head outside of a strip club that he owns in Atlanta. She is my favorite housewife and seems the most real..my condolences to her and her family as well as his...sad..sad..sad..

Football Reality....Child Please!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals..been a fan of Hard Knocks from the Baltimore Ravens days. This is REAL reality, no staged crap like the normal reality 'crap' I am ADDICTED to. Chad Ochocinco is so funny, I wish they would show more of him. Someone make me a Tshirt with "Child Please" on it!! PLEASE! Tank Johnson's little girls are ADORABLE! I highly recommend watching if you like football and like to see what's "behind the helmet'. And if you have HBO.

The TO Show is my other fave Football Reality show, although it is a little staged and I HATED the first episode. It's basically about TO and his two publicists/assistants, Mo and Kita. They are ok, but major HATERS on every girl TO dates. I would NEVER act like they do, I swear, when one of my guys brings around someone questionable, who cares? I mean there is no ring involved yet. I told DS that we should of had a reality show. It would have been way more exciting to watch. We have had some great times!!  I can think of one wild time in the Red Room where I was the best wing man (woman) ever with two models that were more into eachother than him..whew..if there only was a camera around! :) Same night Kid Rock was in there and anyone know I take 1000's of pics but NEVER of celebs in a club, I was taking pics of us and Kid Rock with his greasy hair and overalls came and stuck his hand in my face..hello, I wasn't even aiming your way..whatever..anyway, The last two episodes of the TO Show have been better and I'm more into it now...Its on VH1 if  you care to watch..

T.O. the first to go on Superstars!?

Terrell Owens loses the obstacle course to David Charvet and Dan Cortese!!?!? David Charvet that is married to Brooke Burke and was on Baywatch and Dan Cortese from 1992 MTV Sports!?!  Yes, good looking guys, but to beat T.O!?! Who I thought was one of the best athletes around...crazy! Tony we forsure aren't drafting him in our Fantasy Football league, he did us wrong last year as it was...Unbelievable!

Gibson 5k and Alexis Grace Mini Concert with Elmo and the Shades

Saturday was the 13th annual Gibson Guitar 5k. It is always a huge race, and this year there were over 1500 people that participated. I had a crazy morning, did two Jazzercise classes and slammed my left hand in my car door, I don't know if those account for not a good run, but let's blame it on that and the extreme heat anyway.  Tony came up for support and to be the photographer. The race was packed and at one point I got choked when a runner behind be grabbed (I hope accidentally) my iPod headphones and almost pulled me down. I have such the luck. The highlight Saturday night was the Mini Concert by Alexis Grace of American Idol fame. I even paid the donation to get my picture with her. I look enormous next to her petite frame. She said she would check out my blog, so here's a shout out to her if she actually does! :) Hey if anyone can give me tips on how to turn the video over so Alexis is not singing on her side, PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know. I still feel new at this! :)

LC is coming to Memphis

And I'm going to meet her... She will signing copies of her new book LA Candy on June 24th. Her book doesnt come out until the 16th, so starting today David Kidd lets you get a ticket for a place in line with the prepurchase of her book for $19.65. Ya, I know her book is a young adult read, am I not a young adult? I'm not an old adult FOR SURE!  I know her show is fake, but I do watch it for some reason! I guess I like all the fashion! Anyway Tami will be joining me, I hope to get a picture, they were really strict with their page long list of restrictions. Tony has already called me a groupie. Hey, its something to do on a Wednesday night, right?

On the Spike Network? It is a show where guys who didn't make it in the NFL for whatever reason, get a second chance to make it to Cowboys training camp. One of our friends, Montrell Jones is on it. He played at Tennessee with Tony before transferring to Louisville. It is hilarious and shows a REAL competitive environment. Farragut High School and UT alum Bill Bates is one of the coaches and Michael Irvin, who Tony broke all of his records in high school at St. Thomas Aquinas (gotta brag on my man!!) is the host. It airs on Monday nights..check it out..

The most dramatic Rose Ceremony Yet!-TalkShow FollowUp

Ok, so I just finished up watching all the talk shows commentary on the Bachelor. I did say I was obsessed. I am working today, just fast forwarding through these shows to see the good parts. So, Kimmel had Jason on, as well as NKOTB, so that was cool. Jason says he and Melissa spent Christmas together, that was not 6 weeks ago?! More like 8 or 9 weeks depending on how you count it, so this makes me wonder what is going on with the show and how real is it all? And Jason claims that he and Melissa were broken up when he broke up with her, so she knew it was over, so why was she wearing the ring? Kimmel was hilarious saying he could be like Flava Flav and how he picks a new girl each season! NKOTB was pretty good, I liked their new song. Remember I am fast forwarding to all the good parts. I had to go to trekking this morning and didn't get to see Jason on GMA, so I Tivoed that too and I guess I just missed Jason, bc he wasn't on what I got. So I had Regis and Kelly next, I was sure Kelly had some good commentary. Well she didn't even watch, but Regis just kept making fun of Jason for crying so much. I agree, never seen a guy cry that much! Ok, that wasn't even worth taping. Now on to the View, I know Elizabeth with have something to say. The only time I want to hear what she has to say..Elizabeth is fired up! Ok, again not worth me Tivoing..Well time to move on and do some work..

UPDATE: Ok after watching ATFR Part 2, Monday night's episode was 6 weeks ago, so the engagement was 12 weeks ago. I don't know why they try to make things so confusing!! 

The most dramatic Rose Ceremony Yet!

Ok, so is anyone else out there as obsessed with The Bachelor as I am? Not Jason, this particular one, but just the show in general!? OMG! So Jason picked Melissa, which kinda shocked me. She is much cuter and had that wonderful bubbly personality, but seemed so immature and not ready to parent Jason's son Ty. Maybe hang out and be his friend, but be this perfect wife and mom!? I will say the ending was so cute, they all jumped in the pool, laughing so happy the three of them..But so many questions. Molly was seen majorly teasing her hair before the final rose ceremony, then she had this side bang that kept getting in her face. Jason kept pushing that hair back when he was dumping her. Was it the hair? Molly kept telling Jason he made a mistake. I guess she was right bc Jason dumped Melissa on the After the Final Rose Show. They hung out and 'spent the holidays' together  (what holidays?? President's Day, Valentine's Day, The Inauguration?) for the last 6 weeks and he wasn't in love with her anymore..just Molly? Was Molly's reaction when she was dumped foreshadowing.."You have made a mistake!". So when they bring Molly out she says she is still in love with him. Ok, almost everytime the dumped girl comes out, they say they are getting over him, or are over him. But she is still hanging on to an engaged man that dumped her? Then Chris Harrison after he knows Jason still loves her eggs her on with "What would you do if he still loved you?". Hello!? Is this fake or what!? Then they bring out Jason, and he says he loves her and its so fake, she 'acts' shocked then they start making out the the couch! WTF!? Ok, I want to be sucked into the whole wow, they are really in love and lasted through his engagement, but its seemed so strange and Molly kept looking away the whole time Jason was confessing his love for her! Well Molly looked horrible AGAIN, brown dress with a plastic black headband and I'm sure teased up hair. Ok, BOTH of the final girls look MUCH better with their hair up then down. Molly's hair looked like she had slept then woke up then put this black headband on. I wish they much happiness, but poor Melissa, and for that matter DeAnna. Dang, they advertised her coming back trying to get Jason and he just flat out said he was in love with two other women. Kinda pitiful if she flew all that way over there, then after less than 5 minutes she was told no way. Well just more questions..so sad about Melissa and her only explanation was the 'Chemistry just changed'. I'm still going to watch and for sure watch the After the Final Rose-Part 2, tonight when I guess the other girls will weigh in on it all...whew! It was the most dramatic Rose Ceremony yet! 

Orange Blazers to Greatest American Dog...

Football season is almost here and I am totally ready. Now don't get me wrong, I like every other "True American" have been staying up late and falling asleep to the Olympic coverage.  I think I"m going to be sad the see the closing ceremonies. Track and Field is my favorite,  so I'm glad that has started up. Love some Michael Phelps, but enough is enough...now back to football. I see that my 'throwback' Vol Hostess blazer is making a comeback. I know Bruce Pearl sported a similar one, but now according to the UT Alumni emails, you can have your very own. So much for me saving my old one for the memories. Yes, you too can have your very own UT orange blazer for $229 and as an added bonus you get a nice navy blue one, I guess if you are coming up to a game with the Vol Navy or something it might come in handy!!  I've included an order form, so you all can order yours now, hurry only 10 more days until the season starts! While I was a Vol Hostess (for 6 years!!) we got away from the orange blazer thing and went for some terrible sweater that looked like a varsity cheerleading top. Thank goodness I can wear lots of fun orange in my style since those Vol Hostess Days. We are really looking forward to the Letterman's reunion for the home opener. I feel like I was part of the football team when I was in school, since so many guys on the team were my close friends then I got to relive it when Tony was in school. Remember I was leaving college and all those crazy times..... then I meet Tony and start it all over again! That's how I stayed so young, living college again through him. 

Well My 32nd birthday is in less than a week. Whew! 32 just feels...older...And I really felt old when Tony said last night,

ears before I'm 30! Ugh, thanks..we celebrated Jessica's birthday at Blue Monkey this month and Alane had a birthday last week in Knoxville. So I'm in good company for August Birthdays. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE to celebrate my birthday. Since I moved to Memphis  7 years ago, I've had a fun girl's night on the Thursday around my actual 

   birthday. I was always Tony-less on my bday's bc Tony was always starting the football season. It's actually nice the since the past year 

that I get to celebrate with him, but I haven't gotten away from still doing a girls nigh

t, they got my through a lot being alone! This year we are going to Mollie Fontaine Lounge. I can't wait!!!!

Lane and I have enjoyed watching Greatest American Dog. Tony and Lennox really haven't gotten into like we did. Lennox doesn't watch TV. He has more important things to do, like relax on the couch. I'm not

 sure who we are rooting for, but I think Lane wants to jump in the TV and play with the other dogs sometimes. Not sure yet who we are rooting for, but it might be the Boxer, Presley.  I can't imagine Lennox or Lane on there doing all the tricks and such they have to do...I consider them The Greatest American Dogs...

Let's talk about it..

So, much going on in the world, I just have to talk about it. Ok, what about this lady cloning her Pit Bull, Booger? I have mixed thoughts on this. There are Pit Bulls all over the place, they are one of the hardest breed to place and a breed that is not for everyone. Raising two of them, I don't know how this lady is going to raise 5 of them after mortgaging her home. Heck, Courtney and I played with about 20 puppies of all shapes, sizes, colors, breed-mixes yesterday at the HSMSC. On the other side of the coin, I love, love, love my 2 boys and if it wasn't as expensive as $50,000, I might consider it. But of course I think there needs to be breeding/spay/neuter laws and all that so there aren't shelters full of Pit Bulls and others. Thank God, I volunteer at a place that gives all breeds a chance. But wow, I cant believe this has been done, but how damn cute are those puppies!?

 

Ok, gotta talk about Brett Farve. I'm happy for him if he's happy, but gosh its been nonstop on ESPN all day! I just wonder how long it is going to take him to learn Eric Mangini's intricate offense, and can he do it with another team? I'm sad he wont finish his career as a Packer, but if he didn't put it all out there last year and he still has some left, I totally welcome him back. Tony has had to explain it from a player's prospective.  But the Jets!?! I've never followed them. I've followed almost every other team, but not them. 

Of course this year I'm watching the Brown's. The Jet's play the Brown's tonight, I wonder if Brett will travel to Cleveland, I doubt it...media circus. Gosh Brett looks like my friend Steve Boucher so much in this picture...crazy!?

Ok, the local news has been all about Morgan Freeman. He had a car accident, almost died, now its out that he is going through a divorce, poor guy. Most importantly he needs to get his butt out of the MED and get good medical attention. Love his new Ground Zero downtown.

I am LOVING the whole Anderson Cooper v. The Lohans! Ha, a serious journalist who travels all around the world to cover stories and who watches all the craziness of reality TV! Love it! I have watched Living Lohan and agree how silly it is and Ali does look about 42 years old, poor thing!! And it is funny how everyone on the show is always talking about Lindsay, but she's never on there! The Lohan's should be happy someone like Anderson Cooper is even talking about them! I cant wait to hear what he thinks about LC and The Hills.  Speaking of mindless TV, I can't WAIT to see who wins So You Think You Can Dance. I have been addicted to this show every week and my money's on Joshua, but I love all four!
