Gummi Bears, Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies, Salt and Vinegar Chips, and Sour Cream

Went to the grocery store on Sunday night. I have these $5 off coupons in the Entertainment Coupon book that are good for each month and I hadn't used the one for February yet. I rushed in and bought about $100 worth of the usual things. The next day Tony tells me that I was shopping for me, and totally forgot about him. He said that there were several things he wanted...so today after Bootcamp I ran back in the good Kroger on Germantown Parkway. I can't help the Lakeland Kroger pretty much sucks and really doesn't have everything, and I forget about Tony's staples. So today he got 2 lb bags of gummi worms and gummi bears, we both love them, but I think Tony has to have them to get through the day. Kroger brand Soft Batch cookies for $1.99. Do you know how much the Keebler brand costs..??.. $4.79 for less than you get with the Kroger brand. I personally prefer regular (hard) chocolate chip cookies, or freshly baked one, so let's see if the Kroger brand will do for him. Salt and Vinegar chips, gosh I love these too! They can't be good for you! I got the Pringles version of these. And last but not least..we couldn't have 'Taco Night' without sour cream! Yuck, I hate sour cream, but he has to have that too...I guess I am now a good wife to be with these items in our pantry.

20% off or $5 off $15

I can't stay away from Bed Bath and Beyond! I was just looking at my credit card statement and its all over there! After moving and the stress and how unorganized it was, I vowed to get organized and have everything in containers and almost ready to move. So I bought lots of great things for my kitchen. From a pantry/over-the-door/spice rack, plate/platter organizers, drawer organizers, you name it, I have bought it. All in either stainless or black to match everything, per Tony, yes Tony is the one that wants it all matchy-matchy!  You can't beat their coupons either. 20% off one item or $5 off an item atleast $15..not to mention, you can use more than one coupon per transaction! Love it, because I have used up to 3 in one transaction, saving lots and lots :)

Getting our Lowe's Garden Center On...

Well Happy Earth Day late, we planted a tree! I don't know if its because our house is on the market or what, but we planted this one big tree and 8 smaller ones in our backyard. I took pictures, Tony dug, planted and watered, Lennox and Lane fertilized

Wine, Women and Shoes

Amy, Kelly, Lynne and I had a fabulous time at this event! Wine and Shoes, what more do you need? It was to benefit Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center. When we checked in we got a nice pair of mini chocolate pumps. We also got a 'bingo' card that we used to go around to all of the vendors. There were restaurants, wineries and shoe stores. They told us there was a special prize if we got all of our bingo spots checked. So we were on a mission. We were glad to try all of the food, wine and try on shoes. After getting through the vendors it was time for the fashion show. There were about 20 models all in black modeling the shoe stores shoes.

I spotted a pair I had to have during the fashion show. They are Balenciaga gladiator knock offs. Mine only cost $70 instead of $1700. I got them from Crazy Beautiful. The owners were a lot of fun and told us their store was on the University of Memphis's campus. I will forsure pay them a visit.

After getting my new shoes I went to bid on the silent auction. Again, I'm becoming very lucky at getting great things at these auctions. This time I got court side seats to the Grizzlies v. Kings game on February 20th. The face value on the tickets alone are $590 each. Valet parking and dinner with wine and beer is included. I got all of this for $180! The package actually had some Rudy Gay shoes included but I saw that only me and another guy were pushing the price up (not including the guy running the auction, not fair right!?) during the bidding so we agreed to split the package bc he wanted the shoes and I really didn't care, I already had a big shoe from the Paw Prints auction. So, it was win/win. The only negative on the whole night was after getting all of our bingo spots stamped our 'prize' was a red paper clip in the shape of a heart!! Not exactly an exciting prize.

Ok, so I am obsessed with PINK by Victoria Secret, ya I'm sure they are not targeting 32 year olds for this line, but I have been waiting for the Collegiate line to go on sale and today I got it all, the hoodies, the tshirts, the sweats, you name it, if it was PINK and UT I got it! The Yoga pants with the fold down back that displays Tennessee on the top of the bootie, my personal fave! 50% off now at Victoria Secret. Kudos Banana Republic!

Laying on the couch after a huge Thanksgiving meal, sipping on some Rose' and noticed the new Banana Republic campaign.  It was in my Vogue with Jennifer Aniston, who looks fabulous by the way, on the cover.   I really think its cool to see that they featured an interracial 'couple'. Just nice to see especially we don't see too much of it around us these days, especially in Memphis. Kudos Banana Republic! Happy Black Friday shopping..some of you are probably in line now, stay warm!

I stink!!

So, the other night I get out of the shower, do my usual routine, dry off, lotion up, put on my pajamas...Tony looks at me, with a weird look.
kd:  What, Tony!?
tb:  Are you putting that lotion on?
kd:  What lotion?
tb:  That lotion..pointing at the pink little tub of creme.
kd:  Ya, why?
tb:  It stinks, I don't like it he replied.
kd: Huh?
Bath and Body Works, Cherry Blossom, Body Butter. Tony thinks it stinks and doesn't want me to wear it around him, as I have been the past week. So I guess I've been stinky all week. He then offers to buy me some lotion that he likes and what he wants me to smell like..I guess as long as it isn't Rose scented or White Linen..ewww!! Bath and Body Works is having a huge Columbus Day Sale and tomorrow we are going to get some "Tony Approved" Scents...Happy Early Columbus Day!!
