Shamus and Ariel's Wedding..

It was a clear, but windy day, so Ariel and Shamus got to have their wedding outside with the golf course as the back drop. Grandma Brown was escorted by Adrian. Don't the Brown boys look so handsome? I wasn't a fan of the Ivory tuxes at first, but with them all together I thought it looked nicer than I thought. I will admit that. These guys would look good in anything really.

Kaleb was adorable! I can't believe at 17 months we walked down that aisle alone. He did a great job.

The kiss seals it!

I look so windblown here, but had to get a picture with this cute little boy!

This one actually turned out nice of us.

Tony giving his Best Man speech. He did a great job!

Cutting the cake..always have to get a picture of the cake!

I'm still a single lady right!?!?!

This partition outside the reception became the area where everyone took shots like they were in the club..

The end of the night...it was a fun night! Whew..we were tired!

Eric and Jaycie Hart's Wedding at Woodland Hills

We went to our friends Eric and Jaycie's wedding last Saturday night at Woodland Hills. I got some really good pictures. Jaycie's dress was beautiful.

Mario and his friend sat with us at the reception. I know Mario from volunteering at the Humane Society.

The grooms cake was very cute. Eric does dog rescue so he had paw prints on his cake. He said that he had wanted to bring his dogs up to the reception, that would have been interesting...We met Eric and Jaycie about a year ago and totally connected with our love for Pit Bulls. They are great people.

Todd Wedding and Reception and Bonefish

Friday night we attended a wedding and reception for Emily Cox and Ben Todd. Ben coaches at ECS with Tony and is the Head baseball Coach. The reception was at the Botanic Gardens, the same night as the Sister Hazel/Train Concert. It all worked out great bc we got parking passes and parked right in front, and while outside at the reception, we could hear the concert. I had met Emily and Ben two other times before so I didn't know anyone at the reception besides the other coaches that I have briefly met. So it was kinda fun just people watching and checking out what everyone was wearing. I kinda felt like I was in an episode from the Hills or Laguna Beach, so many young girls in cute dresses. This was a huge reception, I think all of ECS was invited!!

I thought this Memphis groomscake was awesome..look at all of the detail!! And the chocolate covered strawberries..YUM!

The wedding cake was beautiful too and I got some cute shots of the Bride and Groom feeding each other..they are the nicest couple..best wishes to them.

I wanted another picture of us and Tony picked to take it in the hallway..notice a bridesmaid in the far left..gold dresses with pink bows..

Melvin and Leslie were supposed to be at the wedding too. Melvin is the Defensive Coordinator for ECS, but their babysitter had car trouble, so they couldn't make it. We met them at Bonefish for some cocktails and their friends Jen and Terry happened to be there too.

The guys...

Meeting Kennedy and Jennifer and Ernie's Wedding Bash

Just wanted to share some fun pictures from a couple weeks ago, one day I will catch up and blog and have pictures there from the same day..one day...I finally got to meet Kennedy when Kim and Jason came down for Kylie's 1st birthday party. She is so sweet! I got to hold her while she was napping. I love her thick dark hair, its gorgeous! Kim looked amazing, she already has her cute figure back.  That night Tony and I along with all of our Memphis crew attended Jennifer and Ernie's wedding and had a blast! It was one of those great weddings where the alcohol never ran out and we all kept going back for more and more and more..Everyone danced had a wonderful time and we hit 3 spots after. The wedding ended at midnight, so from there we went to Caspian, which has reopened into a late night spot for food and hookah. Andrea and I even met a new friend in 'Biker Bob' who graciously let us pose and do whatever we liked on his Harley! Special requests to see all the pics, I cant post them all :)  We had a lot of fun doing that, from there we hit up BrookhavenPub, which we decided against because there was a cover and we really wanted to check out Michael's new place..its a gorgeous space and we all cannot wait until it is open!!

Orange Blazers to Greatest American Dog...

Football season is almost here and I am totally ready. Now don't get me wrong, I like every other "True American" have been staying up late and falling asleep to the Olympic coverage.  I think I"m going to be sad the see the closing ceremonies. Track and Field is my favorite,  so I'm glad that has started up. Love some Michael Phelps, but enough is enough...now back to football. I see that my 'throwback' Vol Hostess blazer is making a comeback. I know Bruce Pearl sported a similar one, but now according to the UT Alumni emails, you can have your very own. So much for me saving my old one for the memories. Yes, you too can have your very own UT orange blazer for $229 and as an added bonus you get a nice navy blue one, I guess if you are coming up to a game with the Vol Navy or something it might come in handy!!  I've included an order form, so you all can order yours now, hurry only 10 more days until the season starts! While I was a Vol Hostess (for 6 years!!) we got away from the orange blazer thing and went for some terrible sweater that looked like a varsity cheerleading top. Thank goodness I can wear lots of fun orange in my style since those Vol Hostess Days. We are really looking forward to the Letterman's reunion for the home opener. I feel like I was part of the football team when I was in school, since so many guys on the team were my close friends then I got to relive it when Tony was in school. Remember I was leaving college and all those crazy times..... then I meet Tony and start it all over again! That's how I stayed so young, living college again through him.

Well My 32nd birthday is in less than a week. Whew! 32 just feels...older...And I really felt old when Tony said last night,
 ya and I have 3 more y
ears before I'm 30! Ugh, thanks..we celebrated Jessica's birthday at Blue Monkey this month and Alane had a birthday last week in Knoxville. So I'm in good company for August Birthdays. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE to celebrate my birthday. Since I moved to Memphis  7 years ago, I've had a fun girl's night on the Thursday around my actual
birthday. I was always Tony-less on my bday's bc Tony was always starting the football season. It's actually nice the since the past year
that I get to celebrate with him, but I haven't gotten away from still doing a girls nigh
t, they got my through a lot being alone! This year we are going to Mollie Fontaine Lounge. I can't wait!!!!

Something else great we did on the  date of 8.8.08 was going to Katie and Michael's wedding, it was a lot of fun!!..not to mention delicious food! A couple weeks before they had a super-fun Mexican Theme couples shower..we
all had a blast...and you can tell in the above picture!

Lane and I have enjoyed watching Greatest American Dog. Tony and Lennox really haven't gotten into like we did. Lennox doesn't watch TV. He has more important things to do, like relax on the couch. I'm not
sure who we are rooting for, but I think Lane wants to jump in the TV and play with the other dogs sometimes. Not sure yet who we are rooting for, but it might be the Boxer, Presley.  I can't imagine Lennox or Lane on there doing all the tricks and such they have to do...I consider them The Greatest American Dogs...
