Peabody New Year

We brought in 2009 at the Peabody, but we started out the evening at the River Inn's Little Bar. Tony and I stayed there that night and Brooke and Ray met us at the lobby bar. It seats about 12 people, so the name suits it well. Tony and I had a bottle of champagne in our room, so the Cosmo I had at the Little Bar was a nice addition to the start of my night. After Little Bar we met Julie, Greg and Kelly at BlueFin. We had a lot of delicious food and more drinks there. We then headed to the Peabody to ring in the New Year. Lord T and Eloise were the entertainment along with a terrible DJ that would go from TI to AC/DC, then Britney Spears to Lynyrd Skynyrd. So you would be into the song and then he would totally throw you off. Lord T and Eloise were fun, that's the best was to describe them. I wouldn't listen to their music in my car or on my iPod, but they were great performers and put on a great show. After the countdown, we all went our own ways and Tony and I ended up at Tug's in our hotel's lobby for yet another drink before ending up in our room. Here's to a fabulous 2009...
